adventures in polymer clay caning

i totally love making polymer clay canes...i could spend the whole day making them and never tire of it. there are so many different types of canes. flowers, leaves, spider web,geometric designs, kaliedoscope canes and the list goes on i'm sure. i've been making canes and using them to cover things for almost a year. the possibilities are endless, only limited by imagination. i've just started making kaliedoscope canes a few days ago..thought they looked to difficult to try....not hard at all. i'll be making more..... also need to get ready for the county fair, have to make a figure....gonna make a cane covered cat.

kaliedoscopes and polymer clay canes...

today is sunday...i do love sundays. sunday is my clay day. today i'm working on canes to cover kaliedoscopes. i've always loved them and they are fun to make,even thought i've only done one so far. i see the mistakes i made on the first one....so the next ones can only be better, right? the canes i'm making are all flowers, so far. i want to do a kaliedoscope cane like sarah shriver does...her canes are beautiful. absolutly beautiful. i'll need more than just one day off to get my canes to look like hers...lol
